Typical Tavern located in the historical center of the town of Spoleto where the “Festival dei Due Mondi” Festival takes place yearly.
The owners Paola and Giuliano manage the tavern with all their attention and love.Their pride are their cured meats coming from pigs raised freely by the owner. A considerable choice of aged Pecorino cheeses accompanied by home made jams, grilled meats from local animals; fresh hand made pastas and desserts ranging from the Spoleto’s typical Crescionda to small chocolate cakes, tozzetti and stuffed biscuits. A true pleasure for the guest’s palate. Finally as a perfect after dinner drink the home made liquors prepared by Mr Giuliano such as Visciolino, Nocino, and chocolate liquor, all offered to the guests.
Divided in four rooms plus the garden, the tavern can welcome groups, private dinners and, on demand, can reserve one or more rooms for small events like birthdays, business dinners etc… For about 60 people indoors and 40 out in the garden in summer. Almost all the offered dishes are from the Umbrian tradition.
The menu is various and changes according to the season products.
Paola and Giuliano can organize Umbrian cooking lessons and then enjoy together what you cooked.
